Dear creators of this amazing site: it is a privelege for me to learn the
history of my country by such sources as this. A story of WW2, written by a man
who was captured by the soviet military and went through the concentration
camps, yet retained no anger against ordinary people and even having memories of
good-loking Russian girls, a man whose messege is "let wars never happen
again". There're no victors or losers in war, anyone involved in war
is a loser by default, there are also no words that could serve as an appology
for the acts of causing desperate grief and inhumane behavior conducted by
Japanese or Soviet military. Yet, i want to believe that modern Russia has
nothing to do with Soviet Union and its political ambitions. Unfortunately, up
to present time I can not say that the majority of Russians think the same. This
way or the other, it is the only way to learn how to make a world better -
contemplate on history told by first-hand witness, such as this. Kiuchi Nobuo-sensee,
domo arigato gozaimashita.
(Elia Wallah, Russia 6.8.2008 )
Thank you, Mr. Wallah. Thank you for feeling a message of my father directly.
My father says that anyone in the world can make friends. The young generation like us must make an effort to have a wish of
my father realized.

Hi! Thanks for sharing the drawings. My beloved grandfather was pow in
Russia, too. He left only a few stories, and your pictures give a lot more
detail to his stories. If you agree, I could try doing the Hungarian translation
-- however, I can only translate the English version. Tell me if it's okay. If
you do so, please reply by email, as I'm not checking the message board. Thanks
again, Lorant from Hungary
(Lorant Pinter, Hungary 6.3.2008 )
Thank you, Mr. Lorant. In your translating my web-site, I am very glad.
I ask you for translation of Hungarian. It is OK in translation from English.
Thank you for your kindness. By the way, does your grandfather live? My father says that Hungarian became good friends in
prison camp. And my father says that he can make friends with more people if the world is
peaceful.

Dear Nobuo san, I've been the web-site just by accident but I have enjoyed it
very much! I am a student studying War and Psychiatry at King's College London.
I am wondering whehter you could tell me how you could overcome hardships. If
there was any point helped you during your war-camps days, can you tell me a
bit? I have also read some papers about Japanese POWs under the Chinese prisons.
They say they were treated well in China but were unwelcomed in Japan. I wonder
how you think about it. It was great to see all your art-work and hope to keep
it touch with you! Regards, Seilin
(Seilin Uhm, UK 5.29.2008 )
Thank you, Seilin. My father says, "The painful one was not only POWs".
Soviet people at that time were painful lives. The people helped each other and seem to have lived.
My father did not know Chinese prisons. Was comment of father able to help your study?

Dear Kiuchi-san, thank you wary much for Your nice paints and for this wonderful site! All Your narrative is full of goodness and positive attitude to the life. Surprisingly, but it has absolutely no trace of exasperation or bitterness. If
